HVAC Franchise Marketing

The brand handles the name. Somebody has to handle your territory.

Franchise HVAC owners tell me the same thing: the national fund buys awareness, the approved site is locked, and the leads in my ZIP codes are still my problem. We do local marketing inside your brand standards, and we measure it the only way that matters to a franchisee: what a booked job costs in your territory.

  • Works inside brand standards and the approved-vendor process
  • Territory-level Google Business Profile, reviews, LSA, and paid search
  • Every booked job traced to the source that produced it, by location
  • Reporting your franchisor can read and your GM can act on

Three things a franchise agreement does to a marketing plan.

None of them are complaints. They are the constraints the plan has to be built around.

The national fund is not local marketing

Your brand contribution buys the name on television and the top of the funnel. It does not buy the map pack in your suburbs, reviews on your location’s profile, or follow-up on your estimates. That layer is the franchisee’s, and it is where the booked jobs come from.

The site is the brand’s, so the ranking has to come from somewhere else

Most franchise systems give each location a page on the corporate site and limited say over it. Local rankings then depend on the assets you do control: the Google Business Profile, the review flow, citations, and any local pages the brand permits.

Territory lines are a targeting problem

Paid search, LSA, and Meta do not know where your territory ends and the next franchisee’s begins. Campaigns built on ZIP codes and service-area boundaries keep budget inside your lines and keep the peace with the owner next door.

What we do inside the brand.

Everything below fits within brand standards and, where your system requires it, the approved-vendor process. We have worked as the local vendor alongside corporate programs before, and we know how to stay in our lane.

Territory Google Business Profile

Location profiles built out to brand spec, reviews flowing to the right listing, posts and photos that keep them active.

How it works with corporate.

  • We read the brand standards and the marketing section of your agreement before we touch anything.
  • If your system has an approved-vendor process, we go through it. If it needs a conversation with your field consultant, we join it.
  • Accounts live in your name wherever the agreement allows. Where the brand holds the account, you get full reporting access.
  • Brand creative is used as required. Local copy is written to convert inside those rules.
  • Month to month, unless we agree otherwise.
  • Reporting your franchisor can read and your GM can act on, every week.

Own more than one territory?

Multi-territory franchisees get one scoreboard across every location, with budget moved to the territory that is producing. That is the same problem an independent multi-location company has, and we cover it at multi-location HVAC marketing.

Franchisors, this page is for you too.

The local layer, built once

Most franchise systems know the national fund is working and the local layer is uneven. We help brands design a local marketing program franchisees will actually run: the profile standard, the review flow, the LSA playbook, and the report that rolls up.

Franchisee marketing that reports up

If you want a single vendor doing territory marketing across a group of franchisees, with one standard and one report format, that is a conversation we have had before.

Who you are working with

From Spec Ops Army Ranger to HVAC.

I left the 75th Ranger Regiment in 2005 and went straight into marketing. My first HVAC client, in 2009, was a franchise system, and franchise marketing is where I learned that the national plan and the territory plan are two different jobs. HVAC has been my focus since. HVAC Digital Marketing itself is the newest thing we run: we opened the HVAC-only shop at the end of 2025. The people are not new.

I buy and help run HVAC companies as well as market them, so I am reading the same scoreboard you are.

HVAC only
Every client on the roster is an HVAC contractor.
Who does the work
A full-time, in-house team, USA based. The people who strategize, talk to you, and push the buttons are the same people. You always have access to the CEO. Text me now and see.
Retention
When budget and expectations match, we keep 97% to 99% of clients year to year. The ones we lose sold the company, moved marketing in house, or life happened. Source: our team’s client records.
Your name on everything
Wherever the franchise agreement allows it. Where it does not, you get the access.

We are selective, and you should be. There is no pitch and no script. We talk about what you want to talk about and I do my best to help. If I can help, I will tell you. If I cannot, I will tell you that too.

Growth Audit

Find out what a booked job costs in your territory.

Two minutes on the form. We come back with where your location ranks, what your local spend is buying, and what corporate is not covering.

  • Free. No account access needed to start.
  • Straight answers, not a pitch.
  • If your system’s rules leave nothing for us to do, we say so.

Takes about two minutes.

Questions franchise owners ask before they call.

My franchisor has an approved vendor. Can you still help?

Usually. Many systems allow local vendors for the territory layer, some require approval first, and a few lock it down completely. Send us the marketing section of your agreement and we tell you which one you are in before anyone spends a dollar.

Will this conflict with the national campaign?

No. The national fund works the top of the funnel. We work your territory: the profile, the reviews, the local paid search, and the follow-up. Same brand, different job.

Who owns the accounts?

You do, wherever the agreement allows. Where the brand holds an account, you get full reporting access and we work inside it.

Can you keep my spend inside my territory?

Yes. Campaigns are built on ZIP codes and service-area boundaries, and we review the geography with you before launch so you are not paying for the next franchisee’s calls.

I own three territories. Do I need three agencies?

No. One scoreboard, one weekly report, budget moved to whichever territory is producing. See the multi-location page for how that works.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Month to month unless we agree otherwise, and we re-earn the budget every month.

What does it cost?

It depends on the territory and what is in the way, and fee is always separate from ad spend so you can see what you are paying for. We put the number in the proposal after the call, not before it.

Two minutes. Then you know.

Tell us which territories you own and where you want them to be in twelve months. We come back with what is in the way and what it takes to move it.
